Allow Yourself to "Not Quit" in 2025

I just heard the other day that January 10th, 2025 was "National Quitter's Day" and thought, "Wow, that feels like a horrible thing to celebrate." One, because it feeds a narrative of being incapable and, two, because it shames us for being human.
How many times have you longed for a fresh start, a new beginning, or simply just a desire to continue growing? Quite a bit, I'm sure! By nature, most of us can feel when we are not living out of the best version of ourselves... it doesn't feel good. People often describe feelings of being stuck and frustrated, with a desire to feel something different, something better! I say let's not celebrate "National Quitter's Day" in the future and let ourselves be human beings with peaks and valleys in our journey for growth and learning.

It is important to note that, many times, people fizzle out on their goals is due to lack of information and lack of accountability, not lack of desire. Both of these things can be addressed when you recruit help from a therapist or coach. Sometimes people come to our office with a clear sense of what they want to work through or develop and, other times, people come in just knowing they want to experience better for themselves and looking for help in clarifying what that looks like for them.

Our clinicians truly enjoy helping people live their best lives and would be honored to walk with you in that same journey. You can find a link to our list of providers HERE to see who might be a great fit. Each provider has a contact form on their provider page that allows for you to reach them directly. We look forward to working with you!

Here's to not quitting!
