Reagan is a mental health professional who works with women of all ages and stages of life. It takes courage to intentionally seek help during life’s tough phases and circumstances. In her work, Reagan desires to offer hope, honest insight, and individualized approaches. Reagan's counseling style is a blend of compassionate listening and direct communication. She seeks to equip clients with healthy responses to times of stress, anxiety, grief, depression, transition, and mental health valleys. Reagan approaches therapy holistically, viewing each person as having both a unique history and potential for future growth.
Reagan believes in the power of building, maintaining, and mending relationships – within self, families, and couples. She works with a combination of therapy modalities, including attachment and parts theories, as well as solution focused. By approaching each person's situation through a distinctive lens, Reagan offers encouragement for self-discovery and empowerment, while identifying mindset patterns, practicing truthful feedback, and fostering personal stability and resiliency. Reagan's aim is to create partnerships based in trust, deepen a client’s view of self, and connect to her client’s resources of support. With the goal of successful collaboration, clients will see opportunities for real-life application, rooted in personal strengths.
Reagan’s professional background includes a MS degree in Counseling with a School Counseling concentration, which she completed in 2004 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Reagan had the honor of serving as a School Counselor for 15 years, as well as a school consultant/presenter since 2015. In 2020, Reagan completed add-on coursework in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in order to meet qualifications in the state of Tennessee licensure application as a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP). Reagan is currently completing her post-graduate licensure hours under the supervision of Jodi Clarke, MA, LPC-MHSP-AS.
Personally speaking, Reagan believes that her relationships with her husband and their two sons are her true life’s work and inspiration. Throughout her career, Reagan has found that the wisdom and awareness she gains from her own family helps provide grace and humility as she approaches the clients with whom she is privileged to work. Reagan enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading, and being active outdoors.
