About Jodi
Jodi is a licensed therapist and a state-approved clinical supervisor for therapists pursuing their professional counseling licensure (LPC/MHSP). She is passionate about her work and has always been motivated by the desire to help people lead fulfilling, connected, and emotionally healthy lives.
Jodi maintains dual licensure to practice in Tennessee and Florida and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has worked as a counselor for 27 years and has been a licensed therapist in private practice for 19 years. Jodi has completed advanced training in multiple evidence-based counseling models over the years, and primarily works from the models of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
She enjoys an engaged and collaborative approach to her work with clients as they gain clarity, experience healing of emotional and relational wounds, and find renewed hope in their lives and relationships. Jodi is honored to earn the trust of her clients and be witness to the joys and pains of their experiences.
In addition to clinical work, Jodi has been a contributing writer for Verywell Health on topics related to self-growth, relationships, and emotional wellness. She has experience teaching undergraduate psychology courses and has guest presented in graduate level counselor education courses at the University of Tennessee.
Jodi has been married for 22 years, has two amazing sons, and cherishes time spent with family and friends.
