About Julie
Julie is a personal development coach who is passionate about helping people improve the quality of their lives and relationships. She has an engaged style and enjoys collaborating with her clients in session, honoring their capacity for resilience, healing, and growth. Julie holds space for people to develop healthy emotional and relational skills, allowing them to experience a fulfilling and well connected life.
Julie is a Board Certified Advanced Life Coach, as well as a Certified Trauma-Informed Coach, through the International Christian Coaching Institute. She is also certified in Relational Spirituality (RS), a psychological-theological framework for healing and transformation, training directly under RS developer Dr. Todd Hall, PhD. Julie, having been invited personally by Dr. Hall, has since been assisting with current RS trainings and is passionate about helping others learn. She has a deep understanding of how relational wounds can impact view of self and, in turn, influence interactions, decision making, and behaviors. Julie helps clients clarify, and move forward from, unhealthy narratives that influence their relationship with God, self, and others.
Julie holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to joining Grace Counseling Associates, she was honored to serve as the Executive Director of a local non-profit organization serving Knox County. Julie highly values serving others and volunteers in a variety of settings within our community. Julie's professional training, experience, and compassion, allow her to bring rich and helpful insights to session. She is honored to build strong relationships with her clients and to walk alongside them in their journey of healing and change.
Julie has been married for 30 years and is a mother to three wonderful children. She enjoys time spent with family and friends and loves cheering on her Vols!
