About Jordan
Jordan is passionate about exploring the intersection of Christian faith and professional counseling. He values incorporating evidence-based therapeutic models with clients and integrating faith, focusing on heart transformation and soul restoration. He is a graduate of Richmont Graduate University, where he earned an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Much of Jordan’s work has been in ministry positions, including youth pastor, college pastor, discipleship director, and worship leader. He has also enjoyed working in sales, account management, and home renovation. His diversified career experience allows him to relate with and understand a broad range of people and their unique challenges. Jordan provided counseling for adolescents, young adults, and adults in ministry settings for 12 years before choosing to formally pursue his counseling degree in 2020.
Jordan enjoys incorporating a variety of approaches in his work with clients, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Biblical Counseling Theory, Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, as well as adventure therapy and group therapy. Jordan is completing licensure hours under the supervision of Jodi Clarke, MA, LPC/MHSP(S), NCC.
In his free time, Jordan's greatest joy is being a husband to his wife and a dad to his two girls. He also loves anything and everything outdoors, including hiking, fly fishing, trail running, mountain biking, camping, golf, disc golf, and kayaking. Jordan is also a musician who enjoys playing and listening to many genres of music.
